Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort – part of the Accor family – is building on its reputation for luxury interiors with quirky hospitality. We are a landmark coastal resort with 373 rooms, an inviting pool, a Lagoon for water activities and multiple food and beverage offerings. As well as doing leisure exceptionally well with quick access to the beach and peaceful bush walks, we also welcome guests who mix business with pleasure utlising our impressive conferencing facilities by day and enjoying cocktails by the pool of an evening.

 

The opportunity
Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort is looking for an energetic, responsible and quirky customer service professional to lead our Activities team. Your job is to make sure our guests have an awesome time when they visit our resort!

 

You will:

• Design, plan, coordinate and facilitate activities for our guests such as archery, beach cricket or volleyball, bike tours and fishing
• Assist guests with the use and hire of equipment such as kayaks, catamarans and bikes
• Monitor the health and safety within the Activities department, making sure both staff and guests remain safe
• Resolve obstacles, challenges and complaints
• Monitor the (impressive!) pool to ensure it is always clean and well presented
• Organises maintenance on equipment to ensure maximum availability for guests.

 

What we need from you:

• Flexibility to work a variety of hours including weekends and holidays
• First Aid Certificate
• Working with Children Blue Card
• Boat license
• Qualification in the field of sport and recreation is desirable but not essential.
