The opportunity:

This is a great opportunity for a junior Actuarial Analyst with some work experience to join our Capital & Reinsurance team who focus on mitigating risk for AIA and our customers. The team are looking for a high performing Actuarial Analyst who is looking to continue to explore a career as an Actuary. If you are a driven and well rounded, this is an excellent opportunity to kick start a career. 

About the role:

You will be responsible for providing quality actuarial support to the Reinsurance team and typical tasks would involve financial reporting, transactional calculations and data analysis. Beyond this, you’ll have an opportunity to continuously develop your actuarial skills and contribute to process improvements, risk management and supporting other areas of the business.

About you:

• A graduate with 1- 2 years’ experience with an excellent academic record and ideally will have a couple of Actuarial papers complete

• You will be a high achiever, self-motivated and keen to explore a career as an Actuary 

• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally and confidently

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills

• A positive attitude and desire to be successful in everything you do

• Ability to deal with ambiguity
