Job Description

This is a 12-month contract position. The position is responsible to provide support to supervisor under Actuarial Transformation team in the design, preparation and implementation phases within AIA functions to streamline existing business processes.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the various actuarial teams to improve existing processes
  • Recommend areas of improvement to lean existing way of working and transform existing business practices to suit the changing business needs
  • Partner with the relevant business team to implement the identified process change
  • Familiarise and master robotic process automation setup
  • Support ad-hoc tasks as assigned by supervisor

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, and/or currently pursuing Actuarial Professional Exam in any actuarial professional body
  • Possess at least 2 years of working experience in valuation and/or pricing field in life insurance
  • Proficient in MS Office and other computer application such as FoxPro, VBA and actuarial software will be an advantage
  • Good technical and analytical skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English
  • A good team player who is keen to learn and able to work independently
  • Highly motivated, result-oriented and solution-focused
  • Proactive and passionate about making a difference
