Job Description

• Provide actuarial reinsurance pricing, catastrophe modeling analysis, and dynamic portfolio optimization support for senior analysts in their work for clients and prospects
• Assist in analyzing how the distribution of results and relevant risk measures change as a result of application on various proposed reinsurance alternatives
• Evaluate historical experience of treaties for use in negotiation of renewals and commutations
• Prepare presentation and other materials for clients
• Assist in providing other analysis as request of clients, e.g. reinsurance market report

Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial or relevant field (Diploma Holder will also be considered)
• Previous working experience is not a must
  
• Sensitive or interested in mathematical / statistic concepts and techniques
• Detailed oriented, organized with proficiency in using computers
• Able to handle multi-tasks independently and work under tight deadlines and pressure
• Skilled in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Skilled in Python、R or SQL is an advantage
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, knowledge of Mandarin is an advantage
• Immediate availability is preferred
