Intel has announced a major expansion of Intel’s production capacities in Europe and plans to develop two first-of-their-kind semiconductor fabs in Magdeburg, Germany, the capital of Saxony-Anhalt. Planning has started, with construction expected to begin in the first half of 2023 and production planned to come online in 2027, subject to European Commission State aid approval and funding approval by the German authorities.
Join our Intel Fab Construction Enterprise (FCE) building the world's largest semiconductor manufacturing factories across the globe. The future is what we build. Our enterprise manages a portfolio of large capital projects on-site with a large contractor workforce that encompasses outsourced general contractors, A/E Architecture and Engineering firms and key trade companies in the Semiconductor Construction Industry.
This position may require a temporary training assignment, prior to assignment to Magdeburg, Germany.

- Interim location of this role is Home Based Office until office premises will be available, ETA: Q4 2022
This position will support the Director of Construction, the FCE team, and a larger contracted construction group at the Germany site. Ideal hours are 07:00 - 4:00 pm.

This role entails intensive planning & design efforts in various areas of this function, for this project and related projects.
Typical duties may include but are not limited to the following:
- Drafts, composes, types, and proofs correspondence using current office software applications; creates and sustains systems for retention, protection, retrieval, transfer and disposal of confidential information; schedules and coordinates logistics for meetings and events; organizes and manages calendar schedule(s) for manager and/or department; makes travel arrangements
- Prepares expense reports; maintains office supplies; manages departmental recognition, tracks headcount and spending; serves as an information resource/communication channel for policies and procedures; and is a resource for office-related software applications
- Execution of research, data analysis, and preparing reports/recommendations. Copies, collates, sorts and distributes materials.
- Assignments are complex and diversified in nature and may require working within a globally dispersed team. Work performed within generally defined parameters
- Judgment and decision-making willingness is required in resolving moderately complex problems
- Will coordinate lunch meetings, recognition events, partner with program office and other administrative assistants, and be a key player in driving organizational health improvements

- Demonstrated progressively responsible administrative experience
- Demonstrated organization skills with attention to detail
- Judgment and decision-making willingness is required in resolving moderately complex problems
- Willing to focus on accuracy and quality, willing to self-manage and function with minimal supervision in a fast-paced and an interrupt-driven environment while meeting deadlines
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office tools including Sharepoint.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High integrity with the willingness to maintain confidentiality, and handle situations in a diplomatic manner with internal and external partnerships

- English & German speaker required
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School or equivalent plus 5 - 7 years of work experience
- Candidate must possess 5 years' experience supporting senior management teams
- Language - English & German speaker required
