Duties
The appointee will be required to:
(a) provide administrative support to a wide range of matters focusing on human resources, marketing and communications;
(b) work closely with the management of CEVR in the formulation and maintenance of human resources related policies, procedures and systems;
(c) ensure regulatory compliance and advise CEVR’s management in respect of employment-related laws and provide administrative/secretarial support to committees on human resources related matters;
(d) translate CEVR’s goals and strategies into innovative and strategic content via different channels such as search engines, social media, EDM and videos to reach and engage global and regional audience effectively;
(e) work with external marketing companies to promote CEVR;
(f) prepare marketing budgets, annual reports, bilingual press releases, speeches, and be responsible for copywriting; and
(g) perform any other duties as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Scientific Director as well as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Deputy Scientific Director of CEVR and/or their delegates.
The appointee will be required to travel for business purposes, work flexible hours, and may be required to participate in outreach events, conferences, seminars and exhibitions beyond normal office hours.
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
(a) a recognised degree in Business Administration or a related discipline;
(b) at least five years of post-qualification experience in human resources/marketing and communications;
(c) excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact and foster lasting relationships with researchers, research students, industry collaborators and senior business leaders;
(d) demonstrated good team management and organisation skills to lead and collaborate with dynamic teams;
(e) ability to work independently with minimum supervision to deliver results while being an effective contributor as part of a close-knit team environment; and
(f) an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with proficiency in Putonghua.
Preference will be given to those with solid experience in strategic planning.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.
Remuneration
