Operations Support & F&B Coordinator

(12-Month Contract)

An exciting opportunity for an Operations Support & F&B Coordinator in our Corporate Operations and Food & Beverage teams. The individual will play an integral role, working closely & collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders, analyzing data for trends and opportunities, providing insights & recommendations for performance improvement. They will be creative with the design, implementation, and follow through of actions.

What you will be doing:

70% time:

  • Design, build, manage analytics and performance metrics. Provide insights and recommend initiatives to strengthen company’s performance.
  • Lead discussions and identify actionable initiatives with hotels, partners, brands & regional stakeholders. Evaluate outcomes and refine approach.
  • Act as Guest Service Expert regarding Voice of the Guest, Guest feedback, iAuditor Tool, LQA reports, Customer Advisory Boards  for Hotels and for the Region – including webinar training, reporting, troubleshooting, billing.
  • Apply a highly experienced level of skills and knowledge of operations to support the North and Central Americas Operations team and Hotels (as well as Functions and Brands at times) to achieve their Guest Satisfaction targets through establishment of a culture of continuous improvement
  • Produce advanced-level graphical slide presentations in standard software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Vimeo) administer all aspects of the document/presentation production process 
  • Manage and resolve complex, sensitive, and highly confidential issues on behalf of Senior Officers, through to compensation directly by liaising with Hotels, General Managers, and Regional Vice Presidents.

30% time:

  • Exercise initiative and judgment to relieve SVP, Guest Experience and SVP Food & Beverage of administrative details as appropriate or duties as assigned.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and confirm appointments and meetings, and maintain calendar with advanced Outlook knowledge.
  • Coordinate on & off site meetings, inc: scheduling, rooms, special equipment, meals, etc.
  • Manage departmental expenses, billing, invoice approvals, budget, and forecast.
  • Prepare correspondence, proposals, reports, presentations, and other documents as needed.

Your experience and skills include:

  • 5-years hospitality and operations experience (eg. Food & Beverage, Front Office, Housekeeping, Quality Assurance, Leadership Development Program).
  • Proven coordination and time management skills. Ability to work independently on multiple projects . Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
  • Strong guest experience, project & process management, professional written and verbal communications and interpersonal skills. Must be a team player.
  • Experience with research & data. Understanding of social media and marketing an asset.
  • Previous experience managing a budget.
  • Highly skilled in computers, reporting, presentations and design, including Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Previous experience using Opera, TrustYou, Profile Management/CRM tools, Taskworld, Teams, LQA/Forbes, Project Management tools, audit and analytics tools an asset.

Your team and working environment:

  • This role will be a hybrid working model, which will require 2-3 days per week in the Accor North & Central America office located at 155 Wellington Street West, Toronto, Ontario, reporting to the Senior Vice President, Guest Experience and Senior Vice president, Food & Beverage.
