Tasks

As a Cost Centre controller,

• Keep strong and frequent communication with the technologies regarding their financial status, incl. Overhead, Headcount, Investment and BMW Support.
• Analysis all cost elements, compare planning with actual cost, get all supporting document for planning, fulfil the company’s overall target during cost center budget planning process
• Create transparency report to management about actual and forecast vs. target. Assess chances and risks. Accumulate relevant data to enter and maintain a realistic basis for future planning and forecasting. Perform analytical review and cost reporting documentation.
• Release business transactions(investment, overhead, support etc.)
• Assist BBF-22 managers in presentations/reports to the customer/company management.

Key Responsibilities

Daily budget steering, e.g. PR/PO release in SAP, headcount recruitment release, and other financial release

Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process for powertrain plant business areas

Analyze and monitor performance of plant business units, identify main cost drivers and areas of improvement on Headcount, Overhead, Investment and Support

To recommend, coordinate, complete and timely distribute plant related comprehensive management report, e.g. Monthly SIV, BoM, BoD

Provide decision supporting analysis or other financial analysis to different department responsible person, or company management

Prepare for financial analysis of capital investment programs, e.g. plant capacity project, coordinate with business departments to prepare for business case

Perform internal control assessment on SAP and other IT system, e.g. E-application, and process design to establish effective control tool

Qualifications

Master degree with accounting, economics, finance or related major

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a high level of motivation and initiative

Fluent in English

Analytical mind with a positive attitude, willing to work under pressure and tight deadline

Strong presentation skills

Knowledge in planning and financial analysis process

Working experience in JV

Working experience in manufacturing enterprise

Working experience in Budget and Planning area
