As part of the ambitious, broad ranging, multi-year transformation programme, called Finance Transformation (FT),

the Performance and Insights team supporting global metrics reporting for Global Finance Operations (GFO) processes are transitioning into Global Business Services (GBS) and the requirements for support to the GFO leadership team are expanding.

 

GFO is the largest Finance team and is at the heart of the Finance function – providing a far-reaching range of transactional finance activities for all entities, worldwide, enabling our customers to focus on AstraZeneca’s (AZ) priorities. The processes cover record to report, purchase to pay, travel and expenses, contract to cash and data management and we drive AZ’s cash focus through disciplined management of supplier and customer payment terms and practices. GFO provides P2P/T&E process helpdesk services to internal AZ and external end users, including training support to internal AZ users. They operate globally through a combination of in-house and business process outsourcing (BPO) which has been provided in partnership with our service provider Genpact since 2008.

 

GBS will continue to develop its service offering throughout 2018 and beyond and the scope for the Performance and Insights team is expected to expand as GBS grows.

Job Role

1. Integrate all KPI data across all functional departments and prepare KPI scorecard for management

2. Production of BI reports/analysis using MicroStrategy

3. Support the development/changes in Macro, VBA, systems, transactions and processes. This includes preparing and updating process documentation. .

4. Develop tracking tools to log errors, request for modifications, reporting schedule and other related activities associated with regularly scheduled reporting.

5. Prepare and deliver accurate monthly cash generation driven reports to key stakeholders in a timely manner.

6. Act as a facilitator between IT India and KL team for MSTR issues.

7. Liaising with stakeholders regarding performance metrics when necessary

8. Perform root cause analysis for any adverse variance in the KPI targets

9. Analyse the performance of our BPO partners and propose improvements where required.

10. Ensure compliance to key controls as identified in the FCF/SOX documentation.

11. Support Team Leaders when there are any ad hoc activities or projects.  

12. Perform and deliver various tasks in GBP programme such as understanding the purpose of transactions, data/report preparation, reconciliation and variance analysis of actual data.

13. Support team lead and team members in process improvements and activities to enhance the effectiveness of the team. This includes helping new joiners to successfully settle into their new role in their stream.

Requirements

1. Candidate with a bachelor degree in any related courses/ major

2. Preferably candidate with working experience of 2-3 years in similar role/ scope.
