Advancement Director ANP

Position Summary:
The Advancement Director (AD), a member of the Enterprise Sales Overlay team, will be accountable for driving user acquisition and recurring revenue growth objectives within the rapidly growing Asset and Network Performance market through a small team of Bentley Advancement Managers. You will work in close collaboration with the Product Team and Regional Sales Executives to understand the industry and our products so that you can engage with industry to understand user business challenges and identify opportunities to solve them.
This position will also be accountable for developing, delivering and exceeding key pipeline and revenue targets in support of Bentley’s Sales Teams in North / Latin America and will report directly to the Global Advancement Director.
Your Day-to-Day:
- Managing a small team of Advancement Managers who will support Bentley Sales Teams in North / Latin America to drive the accelerated user acceptance and value recognition of Bentley Asset and Network Performance Solutions.
- Be accountable for the team generating and achieving the targeted pipeline and new business growth.
- Ensure and report the performance of the regional team
- Identify and qualify new opportunities for Bentley’s Asset and Network Performance solutions from within existing Bentley account management network and marketing generated leads.
- Working in close collaboration with Account Managers, proactively prospect and engage with strategically targeted users through social networks, email, phone and meetings to understand their business challenges, identify opportunities and generate qualified pipeline
- Develop account and contact target lists, prospecting strategies, and compelling value proposition messaging to support prospecting activities and meet lead generation targets
- Take qualified leads and then initiate and manage the early stages of the sales process before handing over to Account Managers to complete through to close (supporting as required) to drive the accelerated customer acceptance and value recognition of these solutions.
- Ability to articulate the value proposition of the Asset and Network Performance solutions for different markets eg. Energy generation vs Energy transmission and different customer types eg. Contractor vs Owner and quickly adapt and evolve value proposition messaging as the product portfolio rapidly grows and market feedback is received.
- Work in close collaboration with peers within the Product and Users success groups in order to ensure alignment, expansion, and adoption of the assigned Bentley brands

- Knowledge and background within the Asset and Network Management domain
- Experience in selling into Energy accounts with preference for electric energy and renewables
