Location: This position has the flexibility to be based from a home office anywhere in the US.

 

Position Summary:

Bentley Systems has the ideal opportunity for a Sales Advancement Manager, who will develop and execute campaigns for generating and driving new business leads and opportunities in North America.  Reporting to the Executive Advancement Director for BCDE and working within the BCDE Sales Overlay team, this role will be responsible for developing, delivering and exceeding key pipeline and revenue targets with the support of Bentley’s Global Sales Teams.

 

BCDE is a Common Data Environment developed by a UK based business which was acquired by Bentley in March 2022.  The product is used by over ten thousand organizations world-wide on some of the world’s largest projects.   Its success is due to its unsurpassed User Experience which makes it a joy to present and is always well received by prospects.   The successful candidate can be confident of having a product to promote that is the envy of many.

 

BCDE is a complete Project, Program and Portfolio management platform which is used by many to deliver digital transformation from preliminary design through to asset management. BCDE solutions leverage a common and connected data environment to support interoperability and information management across Project Delivery and Asset Management to drive efficiency, collaboration, and productivity.

 

Your Day to Day:

As a Senior Sales Advancement Manager, you will be responsible for selling BCDE solutions enabling Architectural, Engineering and Construction firms and Asset Owners to embrace the era of digital transformation with software applications that help streamline the design, planning, and operating processes for Projects, Programs and Portfolios in North America. In this role you will act as the primary contact for BCDE and will implement the sales campaigns, generating new leads and opportunities, and provide support to Bentley Account Managers as the Subject Matter Expert for BCDE.  The successful candidate will be supported by a team that has over fifty years of combined experience selling BCDE.  Key responsibilities will include:

 

  • Create effective campaigns to expand the use of BCDE within the North American market.
  • Prospect for new business opportunities and driving BCDE sales to exceed quota.
  • Develop relationships at various levels including C-Level, VP’s and Directors within assigned and targeted accounts through use of direct sales techniques and conduct on-site meetings.
  • Fully Qualify leads using a BANT approach prior to handover to a Bentley Account Manager that is responsible for the relevant sector
  • Document and participate in handover meetings with the Account Manager and prospects
  • Ensure that both understand the value proposition which is designed to meet and exceed the prospects key business objective and that a clear set of next agreed steps and agreed and documented
  • Maintain a detailed knowledge and understanding of all Commercial Offerings and Software Support Policies.
  • High level use and comfort utilizing social media and prospecting intelligence resources.
  • Negotiate sales and/or service agreements.
  • Maintain a high knowledge level of the company's solutions and services.

 

What You Bring to The Team:

  • Minimum of 5 years proven experience in selling software solutions into the Architectural, Engineering and Construction sectors
  • Knowledge of Digital Twins, CDEs and BIM is required
  • Experience of Document, Project and Asset Management solutions
  • Background in direct communications and account-based marketing approaches to deliver pipeline growth
  • Ability to run prospecting Webinars
  • Comfortable with all forms of prospecting including cold calling
  • Ability to work with internal and external Lead generation teams to facilitate targeted campaigns and following up on warm leads
  • Excellent written and oral communication as well as strong presentation skills.
  • A passion for hitting targets.
  • Proficiency with company products portfolio at a business level.
  • Very well disciplined and organized with a high level of integrity.
  • Self-motivating “can-do”-attitude.
