About Our Team:
This position is for an Advisory Software Engineer in the Technology Partner
Management team which is part of the Cloud and Software Business Unit. This is
an exciting role working with Lenovo IoT, Tablet & PC product teams and
engaging with various teams within Google on Android & Chrome OS solutions.
What You'll Do:
• Centralized resource for Google Android and Chrome technologies for Lenovo
IoT, Tablet, PC, Software, and Services teams
• Consult with Lenovo product teams on roadmaps and how to best utilize Google
solutions
• Manage technical relationship with Google for Android & Chrome solutions
including OS, applications, manageability, and services
• Influence Google technology roadmaps and programs associated with Lenovo
device development, manufacturing, and support
• Ensure Lenovo product compliance with Google development and program terms
• Review and negotiate Google license/program terms to support Lenovo product
innovation
• Attend and coordinate Lenovo attendance at Google developer training events

#### Position Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical
related work experience
• 3+ years technical experience with PC/IoT hardware, operating systems,
and/or application development processes
• 2+ years experience in software licensing and contract negotiations
Preferred Qualifications:
• 7+ years technical experience with PC/IoT hardware, operating systems,
and/or application development processes
• 5+ years experience in software licensing and contract negotiations
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and business information
• Project management experience
• Simple application coding skills
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing process
• Commercial device manageability solution knowledge
