Job Description
Position Description: The Affiliate Operations Manager is responsible for executing and managing marketing campaigns and operational projects that support our Affiliate Marketing & Sales team in achieving defined business objectives for US and Canada. This includes meeting quarterly revenue, conversion, and profitability goals. This position requires the ability to manage multiple, detailed tasks with urgency and accuracy. The person should have the ability to prioritize work, adjust to what is important in the moment and work well with cross-functional teams to deliver industry-leading marketing campaigns. The position of Digital Marketing Operations Manager is within North American Web Stability & Business Operations organization. Job responsibilities include: • Ensuring seamless integration of the Affiliate channel into Lenovo’s overall marketing strategies: Product messaging, product offers, testing, reporting and data optimization customization within Impact Radius. • Managing weekly offers ad copy for promo feeds in Impact Radius • Onboarding new affiliate partners in Impact Radius platform and aid them in getting started • Review, analyze, approve and decline new publishers within the Impact Radius software interface • Execute fulfillment of paid media placement requirements for publishers which includes creative, ad copy, or landing pages • Track issues related to affiliate tracking pixels and manage them to a solution by working with outside teams • Project manage requirements and functionality change requests for Affiliate platform (Impact Radius) • Oversee and manage operational work being done by yourself and the team (Aegis/GBI team) • Optimize all Lenovo publisher store pages to align with Lenovo strategic initiatives. QA stores with a consumer-centric eye • Executing commission change requests or insertion order updates in Impact Radius • Travel as required to marketing and select affiliate events as required • Regularly audit and report on marketing campaign data • Coordinate affiliate events, product review opportunities and digital contests • Work with affiliate account manager(s) to develop and execute on new marketing opportunities to drive growth from affiliate accounts • Facilitate financial requests for media/commission payments via Impact Radius Platform • Manage monthly calendar for operations projects and marketing campaigns • Work with design, development and brand teams to develop series of creatives to support Lenovo.com products and ensure Lenovo’s brand and messaging consistency within the affiliate channel • Monitor and report on competitors’ affiliate campaigns and promotions #### Position Requirements: • Program Management o Proven ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently under aggressive timelines in a dynamic environment while maintaining strong attention to detail o Experience with effectively communicating program expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. o Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential. o Self-motivated individual who is driven to meet goals o Ability to read and adapt to communication styles of team members who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines. • Ecommerce experience o Previous eCommerce experience preferred. o Experience with affiliate marketing platforms such as Impact Radius, Commission Junction, etc. would be a huge benefit o o Understanding of effective on-line marketing tactics, best practices & strategies o Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced environment where innovation is expected. o Able to adapt to changes quickly. • Marketing experience o Minimum of 2 years of marketing experience within the technology industry preferred o 1-3 years of experience in affiliate marketing preferred o Experience identifying, recruiting and managing influencers o Background acting as liaison with internal and external resources and/or agencies o Good understanding of digital and social media marketing and the implications of each on traditional marketing methods. • Communication o Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across the organization o Effective and professional presentation skills o Possess a positive attitude and ability to work in a collaborative and energetic team environment. o Ability to drive adherence to deadlines with many different teams. • Problem Solving/Analytical Thinking o Excellent problem-solving skills and innovative thinking are required to maximize results and productivity. o Ability to easily conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines. o Experience with Microsoft Excel is required. o Experience with Adobe site catalyst is preferred.
