Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Africa-focused geopolitical analyst to provide political risk assessment, international policy interpretation, and strategic consulting services for the company and its clients. This position operates on a project-based remote collaboration model with flexible working hours.

Key Responsibilities
Risk Monitoring and Assessment: Track political changes, policy and regulatory adjustments, security conflicts, and social dynamics in key African countries; systematically identify both traditional and non-traditional risks.
Geopolitical Research: Analyze the geopolitical landscape of the African continent and sub-regional organizations; study major powers' engagement dynamics in Africa, investment access, trade rules, and international sanctions compliance; produce in-depth analytical reports and policy briefs.
Government Relations Development and Maintenance: Establish and maintain formal communication channels with key government personnel in target African countries; represent the company in engagements with local policymakers and regulatory bodies to secure a favorable policy environment.
Early Warning and Strategic Advisory: Provide timely early risk warnings to management or clients; deliver actionable recommendations on risk avoidance, transfer, and mitigation.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree or above in international relations, political science, area studies, public policy, or related fields. Master's or PhD preferred.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of research or practical experience in African affairs. Candidates with backgrounds in government agencies, military, think tanks, international organizations, or multinational consulting firms are preferred.

Professional Competencies
Deep understanding and sharp insight into Africa's political dynamics and geopolitical landscape.
Excellent qualitative and quantitative analytical skills, with the ability to distill core logic and trend judgments from fragmented information.

Preferred Qualifications
On-the-ground work experience in Africa or a verifiable government affairs network.
Published high-quality research reports, policy commentary, or academic papers.

Compensation and Work Arrangement
Work Mode: Fully remote, flexible hours, results-oriented.
Compensation: Highly competitive project-based remuneration. Depending on task complexity and depth of delivery, the compensation range per project is RMB 2,000 to RMB 20,000, negotiable.
