Eaton Critical Power Solutions organization is looking for a passionate After-Sales Technical Support Engineer to support our EMEA regional service organization on UPS and Energy storage solutions.

The After-Sales Technical Support Engineer responsibilities include troubleshooting, replying internal and external customer requests, and providing after-sales support on installation, maintenance and repair of the products. You will be also responsible for training Field Service Engineers and creating and developing service documentation.

To be successful in this position, you will need to build highest level of product knowledge and have good time management and organizational skills. You should also demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills while maintaining a positive attitude.

Your key deliverables:

  • You will resolve technical product-related issues
  • Provide first class support to local and regional field service engineers
  • You will manage and lead troubleshooting and take corrective actions in challenging field incidents
  • You will act as high-level trainer to field service engineers
  • Improve the content and quality of service trainings
  • Produce service documentation and field service bulletins
  • Act as an interface between field service and other departments
  • You will contribute to the zero-incident culture supporting safety of field engineers through instructions
  • You will coordinate the customer site incident escalations and field quality issues
  • Acting ethically and according to Eaton values and philosophy all the time and showing active interest in developing his/her own work, skills and competencies

Qualifications

Required:

  • Min. B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of experience in Electrical and/or Electronic industry
  • Technical knowledge on power electronics and/or three phase electrical systems and solutions
  • Understanding of energy storage and electrical distribution systems
  • Ability to create technical documents
  • Fluency in both English and Finish
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills
  • Strong work ethic
  • Problem-Solving skills
  • Ability to handle client and customer issues tactfully and professionally
  • Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel (around 10 %)

Desired:

  • Experience on energy storage or Eaton UPS technologies and assemblies
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude in customer service
