Eaton’s Fuel & Motion Control sector of our Aerospace Group is currently seeking an Aftermarket Program Manager II to join our team. This is a remote opportunity within the United States. Position Overview: The primary responsibility for this position is to lead and support programs aligned with our aftermarket growth strategy. The program assignments can be in the RMU (Retrofit, Modification, & Upgrade), Depot Activation & Sustainment, and Military or Civil Aftermarket categories. The Aftermarket Program Manager II is responsible to drive customer satisfaction, continuous improvement, and life of the program financial performance by managing program deliverables, sustainable processes, contractual requirements and business relationship. Improves organization responsiveness to customer requirements. Communicates and manages customer expectations and contractual commitments internal to the business. Manages customer contract, pricing, terms, and conditions and contractual flow-down through the organization. Ensure that scope is managed appropriately, and effective change management process is utilized. Assures that a high-quality reliable product or system solution is supplied to the customer which meets all customer, applicable industry specification and certifying authority requirements, and meets overall customer expectations. Manages on time achievement of all Statement of Work (SOW) and other development milestones (design reviews, submittals, etc.). Responsible for on time delivery of products and services. Leads the SOW task within the described product development process structure. Responsible for overall life-of-the program successful financial performance (ROI). Works seamlessly within Aerospace organization to achieve financial program success, including supporting the Profit plan and Forecasting processes, as well as non-recurring and recurring cost management. Directs overall organizational performance on the program, assuring that the “Triple Constraint” of Cost/Scope/Schedule is met and resources necessary to achieve this constraint are appropriately identified, communicated, and implemented and/or executed to meet desired planned outcome. Champions IPT leadership across the Program. Facilitates the implementation of program management processes at the site, business unit or Division. Seeks team input to promote rapid resolution to issues. Coaches and provides feedback/rewards on performance indicators. Monitors & reports overall performance through metrics during all phases of the program and develops as well as implements corrective action & recovery plans as required. Responsible for project reporting including but not limited to relevant Stakeholders at business unit, divisional, and/or group levels. Leads IPT in identifying, quantifying, and mitigating risk. Uses risk identification, assessment, and mitigation methodologies. Ensures effective change management process is utilized to maximize revenue recovery where appropriate. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in Engineering, Science, or Business Administration A minimum of 5 years of experience in Program Management, Engineering and/or New Product Development (NPD) programs This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e., 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee. Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future. Preferred Qualifications: Master’s in engineering from an accredited institution preferred Prior experience in Aerospace Systems programs Project Management Institute (PMI) accreditation (PMP) highly preferred Proficient in Program and Project Management methodologies, processes and tools Experience in Risk Management Broad knowledge of the Aerospace industry Eaton provides a competitive total rewards package commensurate with applicable skills, knowledge, and experience and consistent with internal and external market practices.
