Eaton’s Bussmann division is currently seeking an Agency Compliance Engineer to join our team. This position is based at our Juarez MX facility. Manage and drive regulatory agency certification projects to closure, including UL, CSA, CCC and IEC certifications In this role, you will: Manage product certification records for the Eaton’s Bussmann Division portfolio Act as a liaison between manufacturing plant and agency representatives to quickly resolve variation notices and product holds Support laboratory agency certification process, data management and audits Develop and maintain status in UL Client Data Test program and other global database to meet project requirements Manage the continuous improvement process for regulatory agency certification and UL Holds Interface with multifunctional teams consisting of individuals from product design, validation testing, manufacturing, and product engineering Consultant and review in matters of agency compliance Proactively review potential agency threats and omissions – particular to self-certifying standards Analyze new and proposed requirements to determine how they could impact products and therefore recommend changes to stay in compliance Promote safety and environmental compliance in design Maintain certifications and ensure business is up to date on any changes in requirements both from a safety and environmental perspective. Provide expertise in the interpretation of industrial standards, including product design retains, application and testing requirements Identify requirements that must be met for Bussmann products, communicate the plan to design team/business leaders, work with design team, and validation/agency testing to ensure all criteria set-out in the plan is attained Comply with all Company’s Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements Comply with all Company’s Quality System requirements #LI-SL4 Qualifications Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution 2-3 years in related roles Relocation is not provided; candidates must currently reside within a 50 mile radius of the Juarez MX facility Computer proficiency (Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Strong analytical skills and business acumen Leadership skills – passion and capability to lead in an integrated environment across multiple sites Good written and oral communications skills High level of attention to details Bilingual English / Spanish Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science from an accredited institution Industry experience working with accreditation agencies, for example UL, CSA, CCC, IEC, and RoHS Self-motivated, self-managed, team-oriented, proactive, attentive to detail, task oriented, and able to overcome obstacles to meet schedule requirements Position Success Criteria: Working knowledge of Bussmann products Ability to effectively work with cross functional team – Product Line Support, New Product Development, VA/VE Cost Out, COE and Manufacturing Interpersonal skills with the ability to lead projects across functions and organizations. Verbal and written communication skills Ability to multitask, complete projects with tight deadlines Advanced problem-solving skills and methods -i.e. Six Sigma, A3, 5-Why, 8D, root cause analysis, and the associated statistical tools used to analyze problems, evaluate root cause and identify corrective and preventive actions to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
