Job Description

    • To answer general enquiries.
    • Receiving shipper's commercial document, verify all documentation and print to Edoc system
    • Receiving shipper's pouch of document, verify all documentation and pass to related documentation or operation staff
    • Cross checking all document, handle documentation requirements for individual consignees in accordance with DLSOP, distribute document to overseas broker, or pouch original document to overseas..
    • To make payment requisition.
    • To file all document to Edoc system timely
    • To prepare SI(Shipping Instruction) with carrier on time
    • To handle ISF filing in ISF tools on time
    • To check carrier's OB/L with ocean carriers and to check vendors' shipping documents.
    • To input data and transmit container manifest to consignees.
    • To Prepare FCR and invoice to shippers on time
    • To send of forwarder's cargo receipts and invoices to shipper on time
    • To prepare Delay Document Demand Notice (DDDN) to vendors and consignees when document is late.
    • To contact vendors for booking and validate bookings against consignee's Purchase Order files.
    • To liaise professionally with both local and overseas vendors, agents, warehouse whenever necessary for business operations.
    • To handle major customers according to DLSOP.
    • To contact vendors, shipping lines and warehouse for shipping arrangements.
    • To communicate promptly and professionally with vendors, agents, consignees and EI-overseas offices.
    • To assist Supervisor to handle daily activities for individual customers.

Qualifications

  • Formal Secondary School Graduates / Certificate or Matriculated with minimum 3 years'
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
