The opportunity:
We’re looking for a talented Agile Coach who will report to the Enterprise Agile Lead. You’ll coach and mentor AIA Tribes, Communities and Teams to enable the organisations new way of working. You’ll also support and champion the establishment and embedment of Agile process, methodologies, and mindset.
About the role:
Enable new way of working through hands on coaching of pilots and initiatives in adopting agile mindsets and principles
Support the implementation of our AIA Agile operating model principles, terminology, practices and governance to be used across the organization, working closely with local and Group Agile Centre of Excellence (CoE).
Develop and deliver various engaging Agile workshops on adopting Scrum and SAFe frameworks to both technology and business parties at project, team and organizational levels to improve team efficiency and effectiveness in this new way of working
Provide ongoing coaching, training and mentoring to upskill team members with practices to enhance their Agile maturity
Promote and embed a culture of innovation, change and continuous improvement within each team and across the organization
Monitor progress and performance at the team and individual level to identify opportunities for improvement and leverage as well as identify talents to potentially become an Agile Coach
Identify and raise challenges and obstacles, from both process and people side of change perspectives, and collaborate with team members and/or the team head to resolve them
About you:
To be successful in this role, you’ll be an Agile Coach who has proven experience in leading and supporting an organisation to become Agile, not just within projects but as an enterprise. You’ll be comfortable working at a predominantly team level and have effective and engaging relationships with stakeholders where you understand how to influence, negotiate and prioritises to find ‘win-win’ outcomes.
You will also;
Strong prior experience in any project delivery role (i.e. PM, BA, Dev, Tester or similar) with significant experience using Agile practices
Any relevant agile certification Scrum Master / Product Owner - CSM / CSP / ACP-PMI Certified
SAFe Certified is preferred
Familiar with and experience in training and coaching on a range of agile approaches including Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Spotify and others
Advanced experience in using, developing and leading the embedment and use of digital tools to support Agile delivery (requirements management tooling essential, DevSecOps tooling preferred)
Recent experience working on large and complex organizational transformation programs
Demonstrates capacity to work in complex environments, with experience leading through uncertainty and ability to know when to pivot and help others pivot
Be competent in utilising agile maturity assessments and metrics to spot opportunities for coaching, and understand how they feed into enterprise learning and development plans
