Job Description

Position Summary:

As the Agile Coaching Leader, you’ll play the dual role of player-manager. As a player, you’ll drive the adoption of agile principles and practices across multiple levels of the organization, from executives to teams, and foster the development of an agile culture. You’ll challenge others, and yourself, to improve every day. You’ll serve and support a group of agile coaches. You’ll play a critical role in transforming how we deliver digital services to our customers across Melco.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a group of agile coaches, including personal development, coaching, staffing, and performance management
  • Work with delivery teams to ensure that they’re adopting agile and performing effectively
  • Work with management to define and establish the right processes for managing a portfolio or program of work in an agile way
  • Drive strategic changes across the organization and ensure that adoption of Agile principles is embedded throughout the most senior levels of the organization
  • Train and Coach the organization the concept of Agile principles

Experience:

  • Experience leading and managing others
  • Minimum of 8 to 10 years experience working as an agile coach
  • Experience using a wide-range of agile and lean frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe or LeSS, while being methodology agnostic
  • Experience developing high-quality software

Education:

  • Degree in a technical field, or equivalent work or training experience

Skills / Competencies:

  • Expertise in coaching cross-functional, agile teams
  • Expertise in coaching the organization and executives to be more agile
  • A thoughtful, adaptive, and positive mindset
  • Empathetic, humble, and collaborative mindset
  • Able to teach, coach, mentor, and manage other agile coaches
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in Cantonese and English, technical and otherwise
