Your responsibilities will include:

Manages general servicing, repairs, and overhauls of aircraft to ensure that aircraft are in good mechanical condition and safe for flight. Perform as an integrated Avionics/Electrical Technician, providing support in maintaining electrical systems of the F-16 to include, wiring & electrical systems and aircraft accessories.

Position requirements:

  • Removes, repairs, installs and overhauls F-16 aircraft electrical systems to ensure airworthiness.
  • Repairs, replaces, and rebuilds aircraft electrical systems, wires and wire harnesses. Replaces and repairs worn or damaged components.
  • Adjusts, repairs, and replaces electrical wiring system and aircraft accessories.
  • Responsible for customer training via On-The-Job Training and complete work assignments in accordance with joint technical guidance.
  • May perform periodic inspections and general overhaul and repairs or modifications requiring replacement and assembly of parts. Provides technical assistance as required.
  • Comply with legislation and Company policies, processes and instructions, including those relating to non-discrimination, environment, safety, duty of care, and the quality management system

  • Establish and maintain appropriate working relationships, ensuring effective and professional interaction with Lockheed Martin (LM) management, employees, customers, contractors and suppliers.
  • Take reasonable care of your own health and safety, and that of others, follow any reasonable instruction given by LM, and report any concern(s) which may give rise to danger, and/or any injury which may occur in the workplace.
  • Any other duties as required.

About you:

Qualifications – essential
  • Appropriate degree from accredited University or equivalent professional experience combined education and specialized training commensurate with assignment.
  • Ability to communicate well in both English and Mandarin.

Experience & competencies
  • Minimum 7 years F-16 fighter aircraft electrical experience
  • Working level of knowledge on Maintenance Information Systems such as Electronic Maintenance Instructions, Aircraft Forms Documentation, and Supply Chain Management.
  • Must be able to read and understand F-16 engineering drawings, documents and technical orders.

  • Good communication skills including the ability to prepare and present concise oral and written reports, briefings, updates and other documentation to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple, concurrent activities, with tight deadlines, while understanding and managing priorities, dependencies and risks.
  • Strong ability to adapt and maintain a flexible approach to changing needs or priorities/
  • Excellent learning aptitude with a willingness to constantly update knowledge in a dynamic environment.
