Airport Service Representative
The Airport Service Representative actively participates in all aspects of airport and ground operations to ensure efficiency and is expected to provide excellent customer service to our clients and crews at HKIA. He/she will be responsible for, and act as, the primary point of contact at HKIA for all ground operations issues and will support crew and maintenance to better serve our clients. The position is further expected to build collaborate relationships with delegates from each service provider.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Monitors and attends all ground operations (movements) and oversee handling service providers at HKIA.
- Builds collaborative relationships with all internal and external customers.
- Exemplifies exceptional customer service.
- In conjunction with QA department conducts service quality audits on TAG preferred Ground Services providers and handlers at airport.
- Reports and provides operational performance feedback to MGO through verbal or written communication.
- Resolves and handles all client, customer and crew inquiries at HKIA from a ground services perspective.
- Attends regular FBO meetings.
- Works with business partners - internal and external, to ensure we are meeting all operational metrics.
- Debriefs operations and crew members daily and reports all information to the MGO.
- Identifies and implements approved operational improvements.
- Assists the Client Support Executive team to manage client expectations and experiences as and when necessary.
- Ensures adherence to airport and aircraft security regulation and report any anomalies.
- Promote safety awareness with internal and external parties.
- Works with TAE to ensure clients ad hoc maintenance needs are met in a timely manner.
- Administrative tasks related to the position, i.e. invoice reconciliation, reports etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Tertiary education preferred but not required.
- 2 years’ experience in aviation preferred.
- Strong service orientation with polished interpersonal skills.
- Mature and results-oriented with outstanding organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to learn operational and service procedures and apply information in an operational environment.
- Pursues continuous improvement.
- Committed, responsible, enthusiastic, able to work independently under minimum supervision in a dynamic environment.
- Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
