Eaton’s Electrical Division is currently seeking an Alliances Marketing Manager to join our team. This position is based remotely or in our Raleigh, NC location. Position Overview: Eaton is committed to growing market share for its Power Quality solutions with IT users. Part of Eaton’s strategy is to identify IT companies where an alliance relationship can be leveraged to create a mutually beneficial go to market strategy to effectively market and sell combined products and services to end customers. To accelerate this growth, we seek a highly qualified Alliances Marketing Manager that can identify key IT companies, initiate the alliance relationship, lead the development of launch plans and programs to drive market adoption of new and existing PQ products and solutions and execute innovative go-to-market strategies to meet our alliance partners in the IT channel. In this function you will: Influence $600M+ in product revenue goals and margin over 50% in North America. Influence $400M in product revenue goals in other global geographies through experience sharing and leveraging programs created in North America. Leading the development of launch plans and programs to drive market adoption of new and existing PQ products and solutions at IT alliances. Leading global GTM programs with key IT vendors (example: Lenovo) leveraging joint channel partners Drive incremental revenue and margins with new product introduction and new market introduction through responsibility of strategic product road-mapping Lead C-Level discussions with alliance managers Interact directly with alliance partners’ senior executive teams to develop go-to-market programs, solution roadmaps and coordinate pre and post sales efforts. Work jointly with channel partners to achieve on-going program initiatives and develop joint business plans/co-marketing activities in conjunction with the field sales teams. Understand and quantify requirements and latent needs for integration of Eaton products into Alliance solutions. Drive Alliance monetization programs to accelerate “Meet in the channel” success Create and manage the sales tools process for evaluating effectiveness of alliance programs through the use of deal registration and Powered by Eaton campaigns. Promote channel marketing, training, support programs and tools for channel partners. Develop a cadence with the sales teams to help them be successful and assure we meet all critical success factors Support company trade shows and events as needed When we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we — as individuals and as a company — are stronger. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree with relevance to the job description Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in marketing or sales support Must be able to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future. Preferred qualifications: General understanding of IT industry Ability to demonstrate experience in competitive benchmarking of features and price, new product requirement definition, business plan development, value proposition development, new product launch, forecasting, developing sales collateral, sales training Ability to think and act strategically Ability to demonstrate strong presentation, verbal and written skills Eaton provides a competitive total rewards package commensurate with applicable skills, knowledge, and experience and consistent with internal and external market practices.
