We are looking for

Allocator

to support our Team. (ID 3345)


What you will do


  • Ensure the most profitable balance of inventory by store through initial allocation, replenishment, and store transfers according to objective criteria
  • Analyse, plan and forecast appropriate inventory levels by store and SKU
  • Create daily reports for review of KPIs to track performance by country/region/store, gender/division, style. Analyse data and report findings to the Allocation Manager.
  • Align delivery schedule together with Logistics and other sales channels
  • Review and understand buying strategy to develop initial allocation strategy
  • Optimize merchandise assortment to adjust the inventory in the allocation according to objective criteria
  • Examine inventory performance to adjust allocation strategies
  • Prepare for weekly Distribution Meeting to discuss appropriate actions like e.g. initial increases, cluster changes, suggestions on new and existing styles
  • Execute store to store transfers to maximize sales and minimize risks for own retail stores
  • Execute cross-channel transfers to maximize sales and minimize outlet returns
  • Manage retail store inventories in order to minimize outlet returns
  • Incorporate information regarding new, closing and rebuild stores in allocation strategy
  • Provide clear communication to managers, the Allocation team and internal counterparts
  • Prepare weekly forecast of allocation quantities for Logistics and Retail Operations
  • Analyse sales contribution and sell through by size, create size curve proposals for the purchase and for the initial allocation

Here is what you'll need


  • Completed university degree preferable in business administration with focus on trade with first experience in a comparable position or Job-specific training with several years of working experience in combination with specialized further training in a related sector
  • Knowledge of inventory management
  • IT knowledge

  • Well-developed analytical ability
  • Ability to quickly grasp concepts
  • Clear written and oral communication
  • Works well with all business partners
  • Very good command of English spoken and written
