Main tasks and responsibilities:

？ Technical review and proposals for the running projects; be assignment as module leader in a

certain project

？ Establish and improve the competence of the department; provide technical training regularly

？ Create and maintain design check list, design guide line and other technical documents

？ Break down job activities assigned by superior to team leaders or engineers, tracking working result

？ Follow company targets and strategy

？ Support the supervisor to create the long term targets for the cost center, proposes and execute the

strategy for implementation

？ Support the supervisor in all technical concerns and lead in cases of technical conflicts

？ Support interviews with job applicants

？ Build network with EDAG global

？ Support sales for technical discussion, to collect proper technical information from customer;

quotation preparation

？ Customer visit and improve the customer relationship

？ Other tasks assigned by the superior

Requirements:

？ Knowledge of automotive development processes and standards

？ Experience in concepts, design and production of BIW or Closures

？ Knowledge of Aluminium parts design: sheet panel, extrusion and casting

？ Knowledge of different Aluminium connection methods: Rivet, Drill, Friction Welding, Spot Welding,

Clinching and Laser Welding

？ Knowledge of the Geometry and Function integration of Aluminium parts with traditional sheet metal

parts

？ Knowledge of the Aluminium Body manufacturing process: jointing, painting and assembly

？ Good skills in oral and written English, German is an add on

？ Team player with good organization and problem solving skills

？ Flexibility and interested to work in an international or local project environment

Qualification:

？ Bachelor - Mechanical Engineering, Master Degree in Automotive Engineering, Technician or

relevant education, training, and/or work experience

？ Minimum 10 years’ experience in BIW or Closures development

？ At least 2 complete project experience, especially Aluminium project

？ Skilled to use CAD systems such as CATIA V5 and/or UNIGRAPHICS

？ Knowledge of MS Office Software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
