Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Creates bottoms up elements of custom analog layout design including but not limited to FET, cell, and blocklevel custom layouts, block level floor plans, RC extraction and schematic to layout verification and debug using phases of physical design development including parasitic extraction, clock routing, polygon editing, auto place and route algorithms, floor planning, and verification.
- Troubleshoots a wide variety up to and including difficult design issues and applied proactive intervention.
- Schedules, staffs, executes and verifies complex custom analog layout development and execution of project methodologies and/or flow developments.
- Requires expansive knowledge and practical application of methodologies and physical design.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Computer Engineering or a related field with 4+ years of experience -OR- a Master's degree in Electrical / Computer Engineering or a related field with 2+ years of experience with atleast 3 of the below:
- Custom Analog layout
- High-speed custom layout
- Floor planning, RC extraction, layout optimization and verification
- Running and debugging RV flows
- Design Tradeoffs
Preferred Qualifications:
- ESD, lithography, EM, DFM, antenna effects and manufacturing challenges
- UNIX with experience in scripting and debugging

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
