Job Description

This is a position at Intel Germany site in Munich, joining the analog and RF modeling team of ca. 20 engineers working on different fields of technology enablement, product support, and design enhancements. The team is working on the state-of-the-art technologies for Intel's digital, analog and RF products.
As team member, you will be responsible for different parts with the responsibility of analyzing and modeling active and passive devices, development of chips that cover the analog and RF aspects of devices and characterization of these chips. Modeling and characterization covers, DC, AC, s-parameters, flicker and RF noise.

An excellent background in semiconductors is required, as you will work in close interaction with digital, reliability and ESD engineers, library development teams (standard cells, IO, memory, PDK) as well as with product designers.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS/MS degree and/or Ph.D.in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field

  • At least 6-10 years of relevant experience in the area of analog/RF with knowledge of state-of-the-art concepts and methodologies for AMS characterization

  • Knowledge of silicon processes and device characteristics, cross discipline knowledge in analog and RF modeling, integration and layout

  • Hands-on experience with lab environment: wafer prober, VNA, spectrum analyzer, parameter analyzer

  • Data analysis tools and programming skills especially scripting (Python, perl, SKILL) is a must

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work within an international and diverse team environment

  • Demonstrated project coordination and documentation skills

  • Enthusiastic about continuous learning

  • Language: English fluent (spoken and written), German beneficial

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
