The Accounting Analyst that holds this position is responsible for reconciling and maintaining the control of the monthly Intercompany transactions in the accounts and processes related to Accounts payable and accounts receivable and all the corresponding follow up to keep aged items at the lowest level and with proper follow up. This position is mainly focused to support that requires to be provided to US Canada and Gambro regions.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Intercompany AP & AR support for Baxter UCAN and Latam subsidiaries around the world.
  • Account reconciliation and follow up of account payable for US legal entities (Loan, interests & AP reconciliation)
  • Intercompany AP trouble shooting (aging, issues, among others).
  • Generate monthly journal entries in AP manual intercompany accounts upon request.
  • Research Out of Balances and participate in the monthly Conference Call with Corporate.
  • Prepare Financial Statements Analysis
  • Intercompany AP support for Baxter subsidiaries around the world.
  • Intercompany AP trouble shooting (aging, issues, others).
  • IC Cash differences investigation.
  • MIT & MCP processes
  • Settlement process coordination (netting payment closure, and follow up) – Non netting wire transfer process
  • Prepare and analyze Financial Statements Analysis
  • Prepare and send account balance confirmations for audit purposes upon request.
  • Participate in the monthly ICMATCH meeting
  • Analyze and maintain the accounts payable process up to date according to the reconciling items
  • Month end close tasks related to integrities, Foreign exchange process, Intercompany policy adjustment, cash adjustments, loan and interest bookings.
  • Other support required from the management.

REQUIREMENTS

-JDE knowledge / SAP knowledge

-Intermediate  advanced English level

-Bachelor degree and at least 3 years of experience in similar accounting areas

SCOPE

The person that will execute the position must have a very high sense of professional independency as well as eagerness to learn and get to speed in the operation.  Initiative proactivity, high level of accounting analysis, eagerness to learn, excellent communication skills, team work and great attitude are required skills for the position.
