Job Description
The role will be responsible for financial and performance reporting for the China entities and ensures good quality financial data in SAP, HFM. This will involve working with stakeholders across the business to optimise the processes and systems that ensure people have access to accurate business and financial information when they need it. In particular, the role holder will need to collaborate with CMTs to ensure consistent application across the business. The role will also need to work closely with the Information Management department to employ technology to automate activities.
- Submit actual into Hyperion/ group reporting systems, conduct analysis and respond to queries within Marketing CMT. Support Transaction Analyst (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cash Management and Fapiao Management), including information required for the timely and accurate reporting of information being captured in SAP.
- Support Accounting and Financial Audits through the collation of information required by the auditors in accordance with the agreed scope of work, delivering on actions required to address any deficiencies identified from the audit.
- Responsible preparation of reports for statutory purposes e.g. Monthly tax return, Annual CIT filing, Monthly financial data submission to local Finance Bureau and SAFE. Responsible for setting up the required reporting for Board pack submission, tax requirements, and statutory financial statements. This will involve liaising with various stakeholders, including Co-source TMF, Group Tax team and external auditors.
- Undertake analysis, suggesting opportunities for improvement and value delivery. Prepare and process data/information required for actual, forecast, budget, interim and year end reporting to support the reporting of results for Commodities.
- Participate in Finance projects build and UAT Testing for new system Implementations and be involved in parallel run in system go-live.
Qualifications
- Degree educated with a qualification in finance, business or economics, preferred CA, CFA CPA qualification.
- Constructively engage stakeholders to a common cause through developing mutually beneficial solutions and proposals. Has ability to understand business needs and value drivers, and recommend appropriate commercial solutions
- Understands every element of the marketing value chain, financial concepts and appropriate risk management, and applies this knowledge to achieve business success and growth.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders across a global organization.
