Job Description
Primary Function : 1 Work as a key member of the GSC COE Logistics team in providing analytical and transactional activities for global Logistics team. This position will be involved in enhancement of productivity and efficiencies of Logistics for EMEA region of Eaton. This role will be responsible for cost optimization and process improvements projects, preparing and publishing different logistics reports to facilitate right decisions. 2 Support Procurement Activities in the region for Logistics EMEA 3 Analytical Support for EMEA Region 4 Reporting of Financials – Economics & Cost out for the region Essential Function : • Analytical support to region as needed • Cost-out Performance Reporting • Economics Reporting • Liaison/Coordinator/Leader (in some cases) for data loads to BI Team requirements related to white book, profit plan, monthly forecasting • Support annual gross cost-out and premium freight control initiatives • Incorporate Benchmark Processes, Best Practices, Technologies & Tools for Logistics functional excellence • Identify & Drive cost out and channel optimization deliverables • Generate standards or custom reports summarizing business, financials, or economic data for review by executives, managers, clients, and other stakeholders • Expertise in data visualization tools such as Power BI Qualifications Qualification: • Bachelors with about 5 to 8 Yrs. exp.in Logistics domain Basic Knowledge (Foundation): • 8+ years of Industry experience • Strong knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI Visio & Project) • Ability to communicate clearly & effectively in person, via e-mail and over phone • Strong project and time management, organizational, and analytical skills. • Reporting and Analytics – Should have good experience on data analysis, report preparation and presentation to project team • Have a good understanding of logistics cost factors and Global supplier base • Good collaborative style, managing various Global stakeholders at senior levels • Good exposure in stakeholder management • Good understanding of logistics factors for different regions • Good business acumen • Able to gather data from multiple systems and assimilate bigger data set • Understand linkages of data across different data set/reports • Break down of Data sets into meaningful interpretations • Able to anticipate logistics issues and proactively work for their resolution Eaton is an intelligent power management company dedicated to improving the quality of life and protecting the environment for people everywhere.
