Duties:

• Develop, implement and support EA-RECC?s Internet/Intranet web applications , database design and some GIS related applications
• Systems design and developments of web applications built on JavaScript, PHP, HTML platforms
• Design and develop of data flow/control (upload and download) on web application
• Conduct program testing, system testing and developing systematic test cases to support user acceptance test
• Conduct quality assurance, verification and rectification of data in validation process and applications
• Prepare and maintain program documentation (e.g. data and function specifications, etc.) to support system enhancement and bug fixing
• Assist in preparing project reports and specifications
• Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline
• At least 3 years’ working experience in application development
• At least 1 year experience in web programming
• Experience in Java and XML will be advantageous
• Knowledge of and experience in database design, Geographical Information System (GIS) and
• application development will be advantageous
• Possess strong sense of analytical and problem solving skills
