Description
Job Summary:
Scope of Work – Main duties, settings, geography, reporting relationships, and other relationships:
Provide project support including purchasing, contract billing, SAP processes, journal entries, and report analysis.
The position works very closely with the Project Units to ensure project needs are met. Responsibilities also
include troubleshooting, recommend/implement process improvements, and excellent team work skills.
- Purchasing process included delegated purchasing
- Journal entries
- SAP processes and transactions including order creation and contract invoicing
- Report analysis
- Project support
- Administrative responsibilities as needed
- Proactively identifies and solves complex issues
- Identifies process issues and works closely with project management units to identify possible improvements
- Develops innovative solutions through the use of new or enhanced tools
- Communicates effectively to project teams and management on problems or needs
- Builds rapport, actively listens, sharing, understand, and makes connections to facilitate information sharing and
- Utilizes project management methodology to implement projects and initiatives
Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred. Associates Degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience or
- SAP proficiency is required
Skills/Abilities:
- Proficiency in SAP
- Excel/Word/PowerPoint skills required
- Must be self-directed and demonstrate initiative
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong planning, coordination, and organizational skills
- Analytical ability
- Able to work in a cross functional team
- Presentation skills
