Overview The Analyst - Sales Planning & Analytics will serve as the commercial analytics and planning support for the Allergan Aesthetics (AA) business and will be the key point of contact for business needs relating to all dashboards and reporting. The successful candidate will focus on building and maintaining dashboards relating to strategic decision making and KPI tracking as well as managing the Veeva Align (VAlign) system and participating in ad-hoc analytics requests and projects. The Business Excellence team is integral part to the success of the company and delivers valuable insights to the AA business partners. As such, the successful candidate should be equally technically skilled, business savvy, and a self-starter! Key Responsibilities and Duties Dashboards and Reporting Maintain and manage existing data reporting systems and provide first-line field level support for data reporting issues Interpret business needs of stakeholders and develop new analytical solutions and reporting systems as per business requirements Collaborate with local and international teams to consolidate data and ensure accuracy Conduct data quality checks on a regular basis VAlign and Metadata Management Establish territory alignment rules in VAlign and manage on an on-going basis Maintain salesforce rosters in VAlign on a regular basis Setup and support other tools within VAlign as needed (e.g. feedback tool) Maintain and manage the metadata defining the business and data integration with downstream systems using metadata management tools within the organization Analytics Projects and Requests Participate and provide support in various ad-hoc analytics projects and requests such as Commercial Policy Tier Calculations Ensure accuracy, thoroughness and timeliness of all assigned deliverables to align with business dynamics, pre-assigned schedules and due dates Qualifications Minimum Requirements Education and Experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, information systems or a related field. 5+ years of experience in business/data analytics, preferably in the pharma, biotech or medical device industries. Advanced technical skills using MS PowerBI data visualization tool is required. Experience in Veeva CRM and VAlign administration is required. Ability to think strategically, analyze and interpret sales and activity data; Ability to synthesize complex analyses into clear presentations for leadership teams. Strong communication skills, as well as written and verbal presentation skills. Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities, to deliver results under tight deadlines.
