Key Accountabilities:
1. As part of our researchers’ family, you will be working closely with the various business lines, regional headquarter, and liaison offices surrounding Guangzhou
2. You will be assigned a specific sector in South China to follow up, out of Residential, Office, Retail, Industrial, Business Park, Investment and Macro Economy; the major responsibility is to prepare the quarterly and annual research reports, tracking the leasing and sales market in respective sectors, and being able to comment on the current market and future trend
3. You will also cover one of the major cities in South China and monitor the city on a quarterly basis with support from various business lines and our local liaison offices. Your work will cover building up the database, establishing the basket, data collection, maintaining a projection model based on statistics and maths
4. Initiate and work on white papers in a specific topic, arranging from analysis on a recent new policy, a recap of a specific sub-market’s movement, forecast and outlook for a particular sector etc

Requirements & Qualifications:
1. Degree holder in business, finance, economics, real estate or other relevant subjects, with at least 3 years of professional research experience with reputable organisations;
2. Strong literacy and numeracy and a university degree are essential, as are fluency in English and spoken and written Mandarin Chinese, while knowledge and experience of property markets would be a strong advantage.
3. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Power Point;
4. Designations such as MRICS, CREA, CPA, CFA and FRM preferred;
5. Good interpersonal skills are also highly important.
