Job Description & Summary

A career in Knowledge Management, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to play an integral part of knowledge sharing across the PwC network so that we can continually provide better service to our clients. You’ll help organise and manage various sources of information as well as provide research support for internal and external clients.

Our Research team supports internal leaders through research and data analytics to provide actionable insights. You’ll work with our team to examine news media, litigation resources, securities violations, and other applicable sources and will summarise adverse findings for the investigating team. You’ll also routinely provide procedural support to practitioners navigating PwC’s client risk assessment requirements and tools.

Job Description & Responsibilities

• Collect the information and structure it in a specific format that can easily be stored in physical as well as digital format, ensuring that the information needs of the organization are met in a timely, effective and efficient manner;
• Manage the cooperation with third party database providers, and answer the queries of staff about the knowledge management products and practices, ensuring they are aware of the knowledge management resources available to support their work, are appropriately trained and are using the systems efficiently and productively;
• Utilize the knowledge base resources and design a training module for the staff to help them access the knowledge management tools;
• Analyze the effectiveness of the databases used by the organization and evaluate its impact in terms of the organizational benefits;
• Translate/ Rewrite original source materials in either English or Chinese into the target language, ensuring that the meaning of the source text is retained;
• Prepare PowerPoint graphics and reports in Strategy& template and brand guidelines, or client-specific templates in ad hoc;
• Integrate existing Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel documents into new client reports;
• Perform all duties of document coordination, including:

• Managing/Controlling master version of document;
• Document compiling and sharing among team members;
• Proof reading and quality checking of own and other team members’ documents.

Qualifications

• Excellent command of spoken and written English, and excellent Chinese writing skills;
• Excellent communicator who can initiate and continue interactions with the people who share their insights and knowledge;
• Strong eye for detail with strong dedication to producing high quality branded communication;
• Know how to record and store information in a physical and digital format;
• Intermediate skill levels on Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
• Good analysing skills and ability to tackle critical situations;
• Demonstrated ability to handle tight deadlines and stressful situations;
• Enthusiastic and self-motivated, able to work in a global, demanding, fast-paced yet collegial environment and remain calm even under time pressure;
• Strong mind-set of client service;
• Knowledge in industry specific terms (e.g. consumer goods, automotive, energy and utilities, financial services, industrials, and healthcare, etc.) would be an added advantage.
