Principal Accountabilities:

EHS Fully comply with Huntsman EH&S and Product Stewardship standards; always keep laboratory in good housekeeping condition and comply with PPE requirement while working in lab. NMR Perform various NMR related experiments together with other analytical techniques to render valuable analytical solution in a timely manner. Liaise with collaborated universities and institutes as needed. Chromatography Follow the procedures of testing standards precisely in conducting chemical test and instrumental analysis. Equipment Maintenance Ensure the testing equipment always maintained in operational condition and keep good filing for those usage / maintenance / calibration records or documents. Communication Ensure effective communication in analytical team. Ensure effective communication with local business development team, key internal customers from technical service and colleagues from other functions.

Knowledge / Experience / Skills Needed

Education: Master's degree in analytical chemistry, organic chemistry, polymer chemistry or other closely related majors with minimum 4 years MNC working experiences. Proven skill and experiences in NMR analysis at least 3 years is a must. Familiar with other modern analytical techniques such as LC/MS, GC/MS, Py-GC/MS, FTIR, TGA, DSC, NIR etc is preferred. Must be fluent in both English and Mandarin. A good command of PC skills (MS office, outlook etc.). Results driven, committed and accountable with excellent organizing and planning skills. Proactive and self-motivated team player with good interpersonal communication capability. Previous polyurethane or chemical testing experience would be an advantage.
