Eaton’s Information Technology team is currently seeking an Analytic Architect. This position can be based out of any Eaton U.S. site and hybrid work setup option. Position Overview: This exciting role is part of our IT team in a large multi-national company. The role offers a broad variety of responsibilities including great learning opportunities. The Specialist - IT Solution Architect for Integration and Data Management (IDM CoE) will have primary responsibility for driving and supporting the Solution Architecture and technical leadership for strategically aligned projects incorporating best practices and established pattern standards throughout the Product lifecycle as an expert in Eaton business intelligence systems and architecture. Solution Architect, may at times, facilitate activities across Enterprise spanning sectors that are medium to large in nature and defining architecture for larger scale programs. The candidate should have a solid grounding in IT process, excellent business intelligence centered technical acumen, strong business process knowledge in Finance or SCM or CRM or Manufacturing domain, and the curiosity and drive to consistently deliver results that leverage and improve upon existing standards and best practices. The candidate must be highly self-motivated with strong communication skills and the ability to guide others in ambiguous situations. Candidate must be very good collaborator to work and collaborate across multiple teams with varied interests and expertise and achieve Eaton Strategic goals. In this function you will: Experience with Business Intelligence tools and methods including but not limited to Hadoop, NoSQL, Big Data principals, PowerBI or Qlikview or Cloud BI ( AWS, GCP or Azure) Expert level understanding of data warehousing or Data Lake cocepts. Expert level understanding of Structured Query Language (SQL). Expert level understanding of Hadoop ecosystems or Cloud Technologies. Proven experience working with large data volumes Ability to quickly analyze situations and produce sound architecture to scale and for reusability. Strong troubleshooting, debugging and problem-solving skills. Must be able to communicate with users at all levels of the organization. Communications with stakeholders, clients, and internal technical teams is critical. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution is required Minimum 10 years of IT experience is required This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee. Preferred Qualifications: ELT or ETL, Data modeling Concepts, SQL, Unix skills, Hadoop or Cloud BI (AWS or Azure or GCP). Domain experience in Finance or SCM or CRM. Quick Learner, Ability to understand complex processes and Architecture. Team player. Willing to share knowledge. Ablility to execute complex project across enterprise.
