About the role: 

As a champion of business intelligence, you will drive the vision and roadmap for our metrics and dashboarding suite, as a strategic pillar to inform business decisions. You will engage with end users to understand their needs, translate data into actionable insights and surface the same at the optimal platform. You will be and advocate of user centricity, design philosophy and business impact.

What you’ll do:

• As a visualization specialist, your key deliverable will be to build, maintain and manage our dashboards suite.
• Recommend ways to improve speed of delivery, coverage and veracity of metrics 
• Undertake deep-dive analysis and provide actionable recommendations to business partners
• Engage with end users to identify their needs and recommend the optimal approach to solving those.
• Investigate data quality issues reported and finds solutions/fixes and collaborate with data engineering and data science to investigate the same
• Interface with data engineering to drive prioritization and accountability of data needs
• Build case for necessary resources within data engineering to support data needs
• Ensure data quality and data integrity to manage data assets to be analysis ready
• Automate routine reporting to dashboards with advanced filtering and deep dive capabilities
• Establish standards for metadata/taxonomy, metrics, query, reports and scorecards
• Provide consultation and lead cross-functional teams to address business issues
• Push for continuous improvement and innovation
• Ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support key Customer Support initiatives
• Provide actionable data-driven recommendations to stakeholders’ business questions

What you need to succeed:

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in the field of Data Analytics
• Graduate in Economics, Business, Engineering, or other quantitative field
• Min 2 years experience with Tableau, Superset or similar BI platform to develop reports and dashboards
• Excellent SQL skills and expertise in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, macros, charts, functions, VBA modeling) and various business intelligence and analytical tools
• Experience with Big Data/Analytics platforms/languages like Hive, Python, R a big plus
• Experience with Google Suite i.e. Google Sheets, Google Slides a plus
