MBition, Mercedes–Benz Innovation Lab is bringing the automotive industry into the future. How? We are building a new generation of infotainment platform that is reusable and hardware agnostic, as well as its implementation into our actual car lines. We are seeking someone who understands both the ecosystem and the system requirements for running Android in a virtualized or hypervised environment to help us bring support for Android applications to our infotainment platform. From AOSP to technical expertise on the finer points of system integration, you will be responsible end-to-end supporting Android in our future vehicles.

 

Responsibilities

Develop bridging and/or adapting technologies to enable Android applications to run alongside native applications

Coordinate with internal/external teams for variety of technical needs such as specifications, APIs, SDKs etc.

Work within the framework of security, performance, privacy, usability, and reliability constraints in the automotive environment

Deliver tangible results from potentially conflicting or fuzzy inputs
