Minimum qualifications:
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering in Radio Frequency or Electromagnetics or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience designing Antenna system solutions for Consumer Electronics.
- Experience using wireless communication systems such as GSM/UMTS/CDMA/LTE, 802.11, Bluetooth, GPS. Experience with factory processes and manufacturing.
- Experience with Electromagnetic Simulation tools (CST, XFDTD, HFSS etc) and/or circuit simulation capability using ADS. Experience with board design, board bring-up and desense mitigation.
Preferred qualifications:
- PhD degree in Electrical Engineering specializing in RF or Electromagnetics.
- Experience using common RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, protocol and signaling testers) and antenna chambers.
- Experience with scripting and automation tools for data collection and analysis.
- Hands on experience with antennas used in wireless consumer products.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements (FCC, IC, CE, etc.) and their respective certification process and cellular industry standards and specs (e.g. CTIA, PTCRB, WiFi alliance etc.).
- Familiarity with schematic creation and PCB design tools.

With your technical expertise, you lead projects in multiple areas of expertise (i.e., engineering domains or systems) within a data center facility, including construction and equipment installation/troubleshooting/debugging with vendors.
As an Antenna Engineer, you will be part of the Hardware design team building Google Pixel cellular phones. You have an antenna systems design background and experience simulating and measuring antenna parameters for mobile phone products. You will be directly involved in cross-functional team engagement defining overall product architecture to achieve lowest possible cost and best Radio Frequency (RF) and antenna performance.

Responsibilities
- Design antennas for mobile phone devices to achieve best-in-class RF/Antenna performance from concept to finish.
- Measure radiated performance TRP/TIS and efficiency for various builds/prototypes.
- Engage in cross-functional design to integrate the antenna design in the product.
- Support EMC and other regulatory testing related to mobile phones.
- Support factory related testing/issues at various production builds and execute OTA test plans to meet wireless carrier requirements.
