Production Merchant (偏大货追踪)

1. Manage and coordinate timely production processes from Purchase Order through to ex-factory shipment. Track the time-and-action calendar milestone dates for every style on order. Proactively alert all appropriate USA and Shanghai Team members as to milestone date shifts that have potential to affect delivery.

2. Participant in the hand-off meeting with development merchant and fit technician for each style. Understand issues that arose througout development and all design/sourcing comments during development.

3. Collaborate with vendor merchant team, vendor and factory QA and factory management with production monitor processes for timelines and consistency of execution.

4. Collaborate with PQS staff as to issues of concern or issues that have been identified during development and production processes.

5. Travel with PQS and/or independently for pre-production meeting with vendor and factory as well as in-process followup visits to ensure production execution consistency.

6. Ensure timely execution and the quality of each production milestone such as fit samples, lab dip and bulk fabric approvals, fabric & garment testing, top-of-production samples and PSFGA readiness. Collaboration and communication with appropriate team members both in USA and Shanghai as milestone are met and/or are about to be missed. Proactive approach to issue resolution.

7. Gatekeeper of the customer experience througout production process and production process sample submits.

8. Collaborate with fit technician on delays and ensure fit technician comments are understood by factory.

9. Negotiate delivery revisions and/or expedited shipment modes with USA sourcing and vendor when any delays arise.

10. Coordinate fabric and garment testing with the manufacturer and Apparel QA, Ensure GCC testing is completed. Ensure proper escalation of and testing failures includes Shanghai Merchant Manager, Fabric Sourcing Specialist and USA Global Sourcing.

11. Work with the fabric/color supervisor to ensure lab dip and bulk approval of fabrics and trims for local approvals. Work with Design team in USA for lab dip and bulk approval of fabric and trims. Ensure both teams are approving colors for materials and trims to maintain production delivery.

12. Work directly with the Supply Chain team in USA and vendor as well as logistics team as to planned inspections, vessel sailing schdules and ADEL/ATS dates.

13. Coordinate approvals of any out of tolerance unit shipments with Supply Chain and Global Sourcing.

14. Direct the activity of and manage Production Assistant Merchant staff.

15. Manage the day-to-day relationship with the vendor on the production side. Update Merchant Manager and Director of Sourcing DDGS as to when issues arise that could affect our business.

Job Qualifications:

• Five+ years of experience in merchandiser.
• Excellent Oral and written English.
• Strong communication with vendor and buyer.
• Major in Garment or fashion design perferred.
