As an application data analyst, your primary job is to be the liaise for Data Analytics team in other IT projects and ensure projects adheres to data and AI standards and governance processes, data analytics services, and data are designed, processed, and/or consumed according to standards.

Other activities which you will be engaged on include:
• Knowledge on Data Analytics strategy, design of the organization’s data platform and analytics platform
• Train and educate the organization as we transform towards a data-driven organization
• Build processes, RACI, and governance model on engagement of application data analyst in IT projects

• Collaborate and work closely with business users, technical stakeholders, and/or vendors in IT projects as the liaise for Data Analytics Team
• Lead detailed end-to-end data analysis activities and requirement documentation.
• Understand and define data requirements in an IT projects including data sources, transformation and migration requirements.
• Build designs that will ensure project adheres to data and AI standards and governance processes and standards and data analytics services.
• Define and implement migration plans from source system as needed. Define APIs to be used or developed based on data requirements
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test results relating to data and data quality.
• Provide support on change management process, user training, and other change management requirements.
• Build and maintain application data analysis governance processes and standards that is used by the team as guiding principle/process for the said role
• Support initiatives running in the data analytics organization which may include design/development of data engineering technical stack or modeling by data science team, data platform initiatives.
• Provide operations support to data platforms.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

General Qualifications

• Great interpersonal skills and excellent oral and written communication skills. Able to manage work with internal stakeholders and vendors.
• Willingness and desire to learn new environment and tools and advance your knowledge. Keeps up to data with new research and integrated applications in the area of data science.
• Able to work with loosely defined requirements and exercise analytical skills to clarify questions, share methodology/approach, and build/test solutions.

Technical Qualifications

• Must have an understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
• Background in business analysis, data analysis, and/or project management
• Background on Azure fundamentals is a plus
• Experience working with diverse set of data sources and off-the shelf/enterprise/bespoke applications
