This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As an Application Development Intern, you will be responsible for:

  • You will be collaborating with a team tasked develop an application as part of a company wide initiative to digitize our existing documentation process
  • You will participate in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle

This position may suit you best if you are familiar with what is below, and would like to do develop your career with Healthineers

  • You are creative and at the same time have structured programming knowledge of web application development
  • You have a quick grasp of teamwork, integration, and motivation
  • You work independently and goal-oriented
  • You enjoy working with others

Required skills to have for the success of this role

  • You are studying application development, computer science, business informatics, software engineering or a related subject in a bachelor's degree program (rising junior/senior)
  • You must have a minimum GPA of 3.2 or higher
  • Must be available to work part-time during the academic year (up to 10-20 hours/week) and full-time during the summer (up to 40 hours/week)
  • You already have some experience with full stack web application development (JavaScript, CSS, HTML, SQL, IIS, GIT, OAuth2)
  • You must feel comfortable working in a fully virtual environment; the intern can be located anywhere in the continental USA
  • You must have permanent work authorization

Start Date: March-April 2021; 6-month duration.
