• Technical presentation of Westfalia products and services to customers

• Reviewing customer applications and requirements and providing design recommendations

• Supervising design process in coordination with in-house design engineer

• Creation of bill of materials, definition of purchase items, initiating RFQs to supply base in coordination with design engineer and purchasing manager

• Definition of tools and jigs required

• Technical project coordination (timelines, workflow, documentation, tracking) from RFQ to PPAP

• Preparing product calculation in coordination with Sales Manager/ Director

• General technical customer service and trouble shooting

Requirements:

• Mechanical engineer

• Min. 3 years of working experience, pref. in metal processing and / or commercial vehicle industry

• Good English skills (writing and speaking)

• Experience with CAD software, pref. Solid Works / Epdm

• Good communicator and teamplayer

• Enjoys working with customers and suppliers

• Enjoys travelling up to 50% of his time

• Well-structured and balanced personality

• Good commercial sense and result orientation

• Good resilience and ability to handle conflicts and stress

• Self-reliant and reliable
