Job Summary:
The Application Engineer delivers technical expertise for solution implementation to customer based on Advantest products and services. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, development of turnkey test solutions, conversions of test programs from other test systems, consulting on customer developed solutions, and as an instructor for system training classes. The position requires working closely with the sales team in the development and execution of sales strategies including pre-sales technical presentations, competitive benchmarks, and technical differentiation.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
*Provide pre/post-sales consultation for Advantest's Semiconductor Test Systems to customers.
*Resolve customer's pre/post production test program issues to minimize test system down time and time to high volume manufacturing.
*Understand customers' IC testing needs and propose testing solutions to meet those needs.
*Develops and execute support plans as part of the customer account team
*Lead test program development/conversion and productivity improvement projects based on customer's requirement
*Deliver training programs to enable the customer's engineers to better utilize the V93000 system.
