Summary:

The Solution Developer is responsible for the implementation & maintaining software product on dispatching & full automation solutions based on Applied Materials product of Activity Manager (AMA) and RTD. A principal activity of this position is to design, implement and maintain dispatching & full automation solution products to achieve fast/repeatable deployment customer manufacturing requirements. Other responsibilities include involvement in consulting on solution product deployment best methods to deployment teams.   

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develops solution code for software projects, and design and implement bug fixes
• Designs software projects
• Defines software specifications
• Performs software tests on code and enhancements
• Troubleshoots the software problems of moderate difficulty
• Develops software documentation
• Interfaces with internal and external customers for requirements analysis
• Typically required to apply software, algorithms, and physics skills to support specialized and/or complex requirements during product implementation
• Prepare an in-depth technical analysis of wafer FAB and ATP full automation and dispatching solution requirements
• Organize a meeting concerning all phases of product development lifecycle (requirement collection, specification, development and testing).
• Participate in documentation reviews of Applied products as appropriate.
• Keep up-to-date on new technologies and new products by attending classes, seminars, conferences, and/or presentations.

Special Requirements:

• Computer Science or Industry Engineering bachelor degree or MBA with Information system background.
• 3+ years experience in demonstrates expanded conceptual knowledge in Factory Automation Software in the Full Automation and Dispatching discipline and broadens capabilities
• 5+ years experience in Semiconductor, LCD, LED or Solar manufacturing environment.
• General Software Programming experience and background is required
• Experience with Windows, Unix & Linux OS (Operating System) is preferred
• Prior knowledge & experience in Applied APF RTD® & Activity Manager™ products is required, at least 3 years experience to write RTD rules and Activity Manager jobs.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Prior working experience with any Semiconductor Fab’s MES (Manufacturing Execution System) and EAP (Equipment Application Program) will be added advantage
• Experience in remote-working environment will be added advantage
