Major Responsibilities:

• Support SWS project acquisition for switch design and definition, discuss RFQ and RFI, lead product requirement analysis;

• Prescription and definition of the development targets (Specification);

• TR with potential supplier and approve the TR workbook;

• Lead/Support switch internal, and customer drawings, raise and follow ERDs for 3D/2D update;

• Lead/Support FMEA (interface to the vehicle);

• Confirm switch DVP&R, Lead to DVP&R communication with customer for sign off;

• Support of technical release for CV, DV, PV from supplier and confirm testing result / PPAP for switch;

• Leader of the technical task/issue/case (depends on assignment);

• Support product definition/sample acceptance for customer switch samples;

• Lead/Support consultancy on COP test plans;

• Cooperation at customer complaint analysis;

• Applying of lessons learned / best practices;

• Lead/Support customer Switch Post-SOP changes (depends on assignment);

• English knowledge, fluency in both written and spoken, as interface are mostly external and international;

• Able to travel and overtime if necessary;

Educational:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic, or Automotive;

• Certified Engineer or chartered Engineer (preferred)
  

Experience:

• 3+ years’ experience in E/E engineering, familiar with vehicle development;

• Familiar with switch design and manufacture process, hardware (PCBA) design experience;

• Professional experience is advantageous, while experience with customer / supplier communication and multiple cultures is advantageous as well;
