We are currently seeking an Application Packager - SCCM t to join our team. This role will be based at our Beachwood, OH location. The primary responsibility of this role will be to provide client infrastructure support to all Eaton’s internal users globally. Specifically, this role will be responsible to provide application packaging and distribution services based on business requirements. Currently utilized application packaging technologies include but are not limited to Admin Studio and Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM). The Application Packager will be part of the Enterprise Client Technologies team. This role requires alignment and participation on enterprise wide projects as well as managing incidents and requests via IT ticketing system, meeting defined SLA’s. Along with packaging, this role will be also be responsible to lead/assist on lifecycle activities across a wide variety of client and administrative technologies which includes Windows, Office, SCCM and some specific applications. In this role, you will: Provide application packaging and distribution services (PC and mobile) o Leads application packaging and management activities o Coordinates testing and distribution of applications o Leads activities in the planning and maintenance of the Enterprise Application Portal Provide 3rd level support for technologies managed within the Enterprise Client Technologies (ECT) team Participate in or lead medium to large ECT projects; participates in projects external to ECT as a key representative of the team. Perform system maintenance, creates/maintains documentation with other team members. Partner with other groups to seek out opportunities to increase end-user operational efficiency. Participate in vendor relationship activities and may serve as the main point of contact for key vendors in the ECT space Recommend standards for continuous improvement Gather information needed to support IT business metrics. Qualifications Basic (Minimum) Qualifications A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution with a minimum of 3 years of packaging technology experience OR a Highschool Diploma or GED with 5 years of packaging technology experience is required. No relocation assistance is provided for this role. Only candidates living within a 50 mile radius of Beachwood, OH will be considered Candidate must be authorized to work in the US on a continuous basis without company sponsorship This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Preferred Qualifications: Possesses a detailed technical understanding of systems and technologies. Some important ones include: PC Hardware Microsoft Windows OS Microsoft Office 365 Engineering applications (Solidworks, Autodesk, SAPGUI) Scripting (Flexera AdminStudio / InstallShield, Powershell, etc.) Microsoft SCCM/MECM software distribution Strong written and verbal communication skills Can work independently and in team settings Deals with ambiguity Passionate, Efficient, Accountable, Ethical, Transparent and willing to Learn Strong customer support skills We make what matters work.
