An application packager helps design these standard software installation packages for institutional clients. To ensure all the software and application have group standard of packaging build and have appropriate configuration to support workstations across AIA.Job Description :
1. Provide submission assistance to customers for Packaging Requests – Package Request Form (PRF) creation
2. Check the requirements generated by the application's owner.
3. Work with the Application Owner to resolve any requirements issues that have been identified.
4. Inform the Application Owner of the Packaging Request's complexity category.
5. Obtain Application Owners' approval for the Packaging Request.
6. Keep track of all applications, Application Owners, versions, and packaging statuses in the applications list.
7. Perform integration testing of Application Packages in the Software Distribution framework's customer Controlled Test Environment (CTE).
8. The deployment test and a "Basic Functionality Test" were carried out.
9. Prepare the UAT environment at the test centre or on-site, as agreed upon with the customer.
10. Coordination of UAT testing scheduling with the customer Application Owner (s)
11. Notify and update all relevant systems with the UAT status (Failure/Pass).
12. Conduct incident and root cause analysis for incidents that occur during integration and UAT testing.
13. Troubleshoot old internally developed applications and remediate them to work on Windows 10
14. Development of Custom Scripts and installation logic.
15. Create technical documents for applications packaging.

Job Requirements :
• A minimum of 5 to 8 years of working experience on Application Packaging Windows Installe Microsoft App-v, Citrix XenApp, VMware ThinApp Specialist Level Skills in Flexera Admin Windows Application Virtualization Offerings such as Microsoft App-v, Citrix XenApp, required.
• Knowledge of Application Package distribution tools is required (SCCM 2012, Intune).
• Excellent understanding of Image Engineering tools and processes (Microsoft Deployment Excellent understanding of Client Virtualization Services (CVS)
• Knowledge of VBScript and PowerShell is required.
• Knowledge of the Windows registry, file and folder security, local/domain user security, and g operating system administration is required.
• Using tools like Process Monitor, Process Explorer, Dependency Walker, and Installrite, y troubleshoot and resolve complex and escalated application issues.
• Knowledge of Application Package distribution tools is required (SCCM 2012, Intune).
