Job Description
- Work with customers onsite on (a) integration of device drivers and (b) framework integration of DSP software algorithms into their Android based devices
- Participate in new software/silicon testing from an application perspective to ensure robustness
- Debug customer problems (software/hardware) either on the customer systems or by re-creating issues in our evaluation boards
- Create user guides, test procedures, application notes

Key responsibilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, ECE, or related fields
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software applications support of analog or SOC products
- Experience in developing and/or integrating ALSA driver, android audio framework/Audio HAL on Android based smartphones. Other non-audio subsystems can be considered
- Experience in software integration on Qualcomm Hexagon DSP (or similar platform) based Android platform
- Strong software debugging skills and basic knowledge of hardware with the ability to produce high quality technical documentation
- Familiarity with standard digital audio interfaces : I2S, Slimbus, Soundwire, PDM
- Ability to use lab equipment for test and debug of audio systems
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
- Ability to take initiative and drive for results
- Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
